So the advanced nations have spoken. Like the South Park writers suggest in their recent episodes, people today hate the current world and are hoping to go back in time when things were simpler and calling people an outsider was an OK thing to do.

To explain further about this need to travel back in time, let me share one of my past memories where I had a conversation with a friend recently where I laughed at her for asking me if there were power cuts in Melbourne. I told her that Advanced Nations do not experience “power cuts”. She retorted with a “An Advanced Nation picked Donald Trump as President!”. I obviously responded to that with some random shit as I hate to lose verbal spats (I am not alone). However it got me thinking and I looked up for the definition for ‘Advanced Nations’. Most of you must have obviously read this but let me refresh your memory. An Advanced Nation is just a country that has a relatively advanced technological infrastructure. Which means the notion that we carry around about Advanced Nations being inhabited by more educated and rational minded individuals is totally wrong!!

People living in Advanced Nations can be as stupid as people living in a third world country with just better trains and bridges so they can easily move around being stupid. They are as irrational as blokes in Bihar who have iPhones but still think that women are not smart and funny. Also, Cartman Rules!

OK I digressed a bit.

Getting to the topic.. So most of you must be aware of the genius of Karl Pilkington. Those who aren’t should seriously put down everything they are doing and binge watch 39 episodes across 3 seasons of ‘The Ricky Gervais Show’. Its the shizz (and there is more of that). You will not regret it. So Karl is this naive British dude with a head like a fucking orange. One of his famous quote was ‘If you keep talking, your mouth will come up with stuff’. And he has a ton of weirdass theories that he shares on some of the podcasts. Recently I started listening to those theories again and realized that he has some really striking similarities with The Donald!

Let me list them down

1. Both of them are really stupid but are not aware of that fact.
2. Both love their father very much.
3. Both have a child like attitude towards everything.
4. Both think that the world was a better place in the past.
5. Both hate China.
6. Both have a weird hairstyle.
7. Both are loved by millions of people (for very different reasons)
8. Both are easy to make fun of as they provide the content for it on a regular basis.
9. Both of them have made a sizeable income from TV shows.
10. Both have songs written about them.

Ok I can go on with that. Basically, they are both known for saying whatever comes in their head. No matter what utter bullshit that is, this trait of theirs is confused with honesty. Now I am not saying that he’ll make it if Karl Pilkington runs for the office in UK. But I am saying that it is pretty much possible. I am not sure how many well educated and rational individuals voted for The Donald, but whoever did, did it out of the hatred for politicians. A feeling that has been propagated since ages. No one can blame them. We are walking towards a world where stupid is the new sexy and rationality is not YOLO material. Evolution Bless The World!

 

 

P. S – States(most of them I think) that legalized weed are the ones Hillary won. Which means some of the votes she got might have meant for The Donald. Also, there are so many pornstars with the last name as Trump now. Everyone wants to fuck the queen?
